The AoFAQ Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid for Drivers qualification is a first aid training course designed for professional drivers who are involved in the driving industry and require a first aid qualification to meet the Certificate of Professional Competency (CPC) first aid requirements as well as gaining the knowledge and skills to potentially save a life on the roads.

The CPC Driver First Aid course is approved by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) to meet Driver CPC training requirements for professional drivers of large goods vehicles and passenger carrying vehicles.

It is also approved by the Association of First Aiders.

The course counts towards seven hours of the required 35 hours training and provides the skills and confidence that is so important to administer first aid in emergency situations whilst on the road

The First Aid for Drivers course focuses on the crucial knowledge required to compentently deal with life-threatening emergencies.

It is linked with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT).
