We have two very different cat and dog first aid courses coming to Beoley, Worcestershire on the same day at
Beoley Village Hall, Beoley Lane, Holt End, Beoley, Worcestershire, B98 9AN
Sunday, February 12th 2017
Our first is 9am to 1pm:
This is a four hour Cat and Dog first aid course with comfort breaks for drinks and biscuits . Although it is a full-on course, it is very friendly and fun and we really do get stuck in. No boring presentations or flip charts!.
Our other cat and dog first aid course might be considered as not for the faint-hearted. We focus on catastrophic bleed management.
This course runs from 2pm to 5pm
Did you know this?
It takes just two teaspoons of blood per pound of body weight to cause a cat or dog to go into shock….Shock kills.
Every dog and cat carer should know how to control or stop bleeding, even if it is just long enough to get to the vet.
Traumatic or catastrophic blood loss will kill a cat or dog in minutes and it only takes a fight, bite, road accident or other unforeseen incident. A simple, natural jump and landing on a sharp object could cause an arterial bleed and catastrophic blood loss.
